CPR s.a. manages projects for downstream clients such as refinery expansions and modernizations. Our project teams will represent the client in overseeing the EP&C general contractor(s). From concept to construction, there are innumerable decisions that have to be made everyday by the project management team. CPR s.a. has many years of experience executing downstream projects and can make those decisions with confidence.
It is important to maintain the separation between the owner/operator and the EP&C contractor. Allowing the EP&C contractor to provide the client's project management team introduces a conflict of interest. Decisions in that case will tend towards the more complex and expansive.
CPR s.a. knows the inner workings of large EP&C contractors and can provide a counter-balance especially in contracts negotiation. The EP&C contractor negotiates project contracts many times a year, while smaller oil companies may undergo an expansion project only once in a generation. Having CPR s.a. on your side during the contract negotiation and performance phases will ensure that a fair and effective contract results.
